Creighton Teen Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

 (Norfolk, NE)-  An investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol Investigative Services Division-Norfolk, in conjunction with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Creighton Police Department, Health and Human Services System and the Northeast Nebraska Child Advocacy Center, has led to the arrest of a 16-year-old Creighton, Nebraska teen on charges of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Attempted First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.  
   The charges against the juvenile male are the result of an investigation into allegations of inappropriate touching of children between 4 & 9 years of age during a youth function at a Creighton, Nebraska church.    The alleged touching took place over a four month period from December 2007 –March of 2008 and involved several victims.
   On Thursday, March 27, 2008, the suspect was taken into custody and lodged in the Knox County Jail on a charge of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.  At that time the suspect bonded out.  He was taken into custody a second time on April 7, 2008, and lodged on a charge of Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child.
  The investigation into the case continues.
