PERMIT APPLICATION INFORMATION

Person's wishing to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit are welcome to dowload the following application form.  Concealed Handgun Permit Applications will be accepted beginning January 3, 2007.

The vision statement is for those individuals who do not possess a valid Nebraska Driver's License.

Applicants must present a completed/notorazied application form and necessary documentation in person, during normal business hours to the Criminal Identification Division (CID) Office in Lincoln, or any Troop Area Headquarters outside of Lincoln, listed below:

• Criminal Identification Office -3800 NW 12th Street, Suite A-Lincoln
• Troop A Headquarters- 4411 South 108th St.- Omaha
• Troop B Headquarters- 1401 Eisenhower Avenue- Norfolk
• Troop C Headquarters- 3431 Old Potash Highway- Grand Island
• Troop D Headquarters- 300 W. South River Road- North Platte
• Troop E Headquarters-4500 Avenue I- Scottsbluff

INSTRUCTOR APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants must present a completed application form in person, during normal business hours to the Criminal Identification Division (CID) Office in Lincoln, or any Troop Area Headquarters outside of Lincoln, listed below:

• Troop D Headquarters- 300 W. South River Road- North Platte
• Troop E Headquarters-4500 Avenue I- Scottsbluff

The application form must be accompanied by the following documentation required by the Concealed Handgun Permit Rules & Regulations.

• Application for Concealed Firearm Instructor
• A Notarized Firearms Instructor Certification to teach handgun courses
• Proof of identification (Valid Photo ID or Valid Passport)
• Proof of Citizenship 
• Proof of address
• Signature of applicant
• Proposed Course Curriculum
• $15.00 Criminal History Check Fee

At the time the Instructor Application is submitted to the Criminal Identification Division (CID) Office, Lincoln, or any Troop Area Headquarters outside of Lincoln, (addresses listed above) the applicant must:

• Submit to a fingerprint scan or two sets of legible fingerprints
• Provide a copy of a Valid Photo ID or a photograph
