Employment Opportunity - City of Chadron

The City of  Chadron, Nebraska Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.  Applications may be requested from the Secretary of the Civil Service Commission, Box 390, Chadron, NE 69337-0390.  

Applications will close on March 14, 2008.  Those applicants accepted will be notified for testing.  Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum age 21 years, excellent physical condition, valid driver's license, and be of good moral character with no felony conviction.

Pre-employment drug test and psychological test are required.  Nebraska Certified Officer is preferred but is not required.  Salary based on qualifications and experience with excellent benefit package.

Applicants may be required to travel to Chadron more than once to participate in the selection process.
