The city of O'Neill is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.  Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, valid Driver's License, and no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions.  Benefits include family health and dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation/sick leave, retirement plan, longevity pay, furnished uniforms and equipment with cleaning allowance.  Three days on and three days off schedule.  Hourly wage is $13.99 - $15.60, with paid overtime.  Nebraska Law Enforcement certification preferred, but not mandatory.  Applications may be obtained at the O'Neill Police Department, 401 East Fremont, O'Neill, Nebraska, 68763 or by calling (402) 336-1313.  Applications accepted until 5:00 PM, February 8th, 2008.  EOE
